I have just listened to an amusing and powerful presentation by Brene Brown on the TED website about vulnerability. It really is inspiring and while it talks about our personal vulnerability and whole hearteness as the keys to a fulfilling life I believe that this is also a key approach to the interior design of our homes combining our willingness to share our stories through the material things that tell part of the story of our lives and loved ones (items collected and inherited) with the overall design, colour and layout of our homes. This vulnerability and willingness to share what we love and what inspires us creates an atmosphere which reflect our personal tastes.
